So many projects so little time...
This gift from Paul the other night plus the one I picked up during the holidays gives me a finished company of each the Char B1 and FT17. Very much chuffed as this has been a goal for ages and ages
Flamethrower Enigneer company, which is part of my late war panzergrenadier regiment
Support Company command stands also for the panzergrenadiers
Some Great War French that I've been neglecting for about a year, Pegasus and Airfix
A selection of old engineer stands out for a touch up, mostly Revell
Undercoated
A good report on your progress mate.
ReplyDeleteI sense a early war game coming on...
Good stuff. I have three Char B1/Renault boxes looking at me in my undone models cupboard!
ReplyDelete:) never ceases to amaze me how many kits others seem to have stashed away, especially some that are quite rare an hard to obtain. Nice Blog too Dylan, link added
DeleteThe Matchbox Char B/ FT is a splendid old kit. I have several - some of them French....
ReplyDeleteTotally agree Tim, how big is your total French collection? With my latest additions I can muster a full DLM battalion
DeleteBearing in mind that I use a scale of 1 toy=a battalion, I have 12 Infantry Divs, 2 Motorised Inf, 2 DCR and 2 DLM - one of the latter convertible into a DLC. Well you did ask...
DeleteA lot of stuff, wow. I like the matchbox kit. I think i´ve got one somewhere.
ReplyDeleteA lot going on here. Are you preparing for something specific with the French apt? We are playing CD-TOB tomorrow: the battle of Mokre.
ReplyDeletemmm, going to try and narrow things down a bit too. Mokre is an excellent game, Gerard had the map almost perfect when we played it at his place and I think this makes a big difference
DeleteThe French were started ages ago, nothing special in mind
ReplyDeleteGood work again, Al! Lots of stuff going on mate ;)
ReplyDeleteA hoard of treasures
ReplyDeleteYou didn't fancy painting that 1940 French Char B1 bis as a German flamethrower circa 1941/42
No mate, too excited to finally have a whole company, these models are very hard to find in these parts
DeleteOooh yes, I do like that Char 1B. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
ReplyDeletePlenty to be going on with then......
