Finally got this finished, a very tidy little kit with good detail and engineering
Painted with my usual mix of Vallejo paints and Citadel washes
For once the decals went on without a hitch; actually I've had fewer problems with these since I started using warm water when applying them
I've resolved to try rigging one more smaller attempt before taking on my prized 0/400
An excellent addition to my WW1 aircraft collection, thanks to a daughter who knows me well :)
Looking good Al!
ReplyDeletegood job!
ReplyDeleteTurned out really well especially my achilles heel.......decals!
ReplyDeletevery nice! especially the "texturing", it really looks like it's covered by fabric.
ReplyDeleteVery nice work there Al!
ReplyDeleteThats a sweet looking ride mate.
ReplyDeleteGreat work Al - and well done for even attempting rigging!
ReplyDeleteRespect for that rigging!
ReplyDeleteThat is one thing that puts me off WWII planes in 1/72 scale
I would feel obliged to have a go at the rigging!
Glad you it team, quite chuffed with the results myself :)
ReplyDeleteReally smart. The SE5a looks the business. It has that let's-get-'em-lads style to it. What will you put it up against?...go on, you know you want to!
ReplyDeleteHave an Albatross DIII but just got side-tracked with multiple cold war additions :)
