SE5a

Finally got this finished, a very tidy little kit with good detail and engineering

Painted with my usual mix of Vallejo paints and Citadel washes

For once the decals went on without a hitch; actually I've had fewer problems with these since I started using warm water when applying them

I've resolved to try rigging one more smaller attempt before taking on my prized 0/400

An excellent addition to my WW1 aircraft collection, thanks to a daughter who knows me well :)

  5. Respect for that rigging!

That is one thing that puts me off WWII planes in 1/72 scale
I would feel obliged to have a go at the rigging!

  7. Really smart. The SE5a looks the business. It has that let's-get-'em-lads style to it. What will you put it up against?...go on, you know you want to!
