Here is my new table. It was the crate my bike was shipped over in, it has now traveled 5000km. Set on trestle tables and clamped together. The joins were then filled and the whole thing sanded
Have kept it a flat top style but am also considering using the drop-cloth method when doing scenarios with a lot of hill features
In CD3 terms I have a frontage of 7500 x 5200 yards
Demo layout with an early war map but I need to make a lot more road and river sections.
That's a fine table! How big is it?
ReplyDeletethanks Tim - 11.5 x 8 ft
DeleteBlimey! That's a proper size!
DeleteIt may be of interest to learn that your table is 86x60km in Megablitz terms....
DeleteVery nice! Lots of room for maneuver there!
ReplyDeleteGreat table, very intelligent recycling!
ReplyDeleteThat is an epic table Al.
ReplyDeleteThat wargames shed looks like it might be a bit chilly in winter :-)
Thanks guys, it's winter here now. Daytime 27-30, overnights lows of about 20 :)
ReplyDeleteHa! I guess I was thinking of what it would be like down here in Tassie :-)
DeleteVery, very cool!
ReplyDeleteThat is a pretty decent looking table Al!
ReplyDeleteVery smart - looks like you could extend it by at least another 5 feet?
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing some epic battle reports!
