This was a very expensive kit, and ordinarily I wouldn't pay that much for it on general principle. However, I had a voucher card for this store in particular, to almost the exact amount, and thought ah what the hell.

It is a very detailed kit, and I have decided to paint everything on the sprue first. Don't think I'll be buying any more of these anytime soon, so I want to make a good job it - keep you posted.
I didn't realise Pegasus did this kit, I already have one (to make) from Trumpeter!
ReplyDeleteThe Trumpeter version was there too mate, I'd be keen to see your one, to see if I made the right choice.
ReplyDeleteI don't think there is much in it Al.
ReplyDeleteTrumpeter kits seem to have the same quality but more parts (although I have the Pegasus German Maus and was surprised at the number of pieces it had in it).
I seem to have amassed too many unmade kits of late and need a spot of plastic building!! If only I were in 20mm mode. Keep posting you'll bring me back in sync.
