Incredibly detailed kit for this scale

I did mine standard German grey as I only have two others in this colour scheme

Lots of details, nice kit to make

Any more of these I get will be the Armourfast ones.

Airfix 222

Japanese Tank Destroyer

The only one of these I have, the Type 1 Ho-Ni. Produced in very limited numbers from 1942

All of x4 parts, a resin model by Frontline

SDKFZ 231 GS

I inherited this recently from Paul; it is another from the talents of Gerard Davey

The GS version dates from about 1942

I painted it up a little more and added some decals but it is otherwise as it arrived

I think the chassis is from Airfix but everything else has been scratch-built - the turret is especially well done

Beside a later war version.

Puma

Been doing some touch-up work on some of my favourite pieces of kit, the 234/2

I only have the two of these - it's not very often you see them in larger formations 

The 50mm gun was eventually replaced with a 75mm version, though these date from late 1943 - early 1944

These two are by Matchbox.

Sdkfz 11

As part of my ongoing early war project I decided to repaint some of my older kit

All of these prime movers have been acquired from various places pre-built, so I've never actually made one of these models myself

Hasegawa on the left, Airfix on the right. Me and Paul scored these two from an online auction a few years ago (pictured below)

All three models were formally a desert colour (of sorts), I have repainted them so they fit better with the rest of my collection

Vallejo German Grey and Highlight German Grey, no inks. I also have a quad AA one to repaint. They are still a bit patchy around the wheel areas and I'll finish them off once they've done a short stint on the tabletop.

Armourfast 251/1

Nice simple kits, perfect for wargames

My next few 251/1 additions are all going to be painted in this standard German Grey

Decals from what I could find. Need a few more of these, but with what I have so far, I can transport x2 companies of panzergrenadiers or infantry.

Airfix Universal Carriers - with crew

These two were given to me by Dave, a few years ago now. All I've done is repaint them and add crew figures, and some other little details

Just with changing heads on the standard crew figures I think you end up with a better model, The figure are a mixture of Airfix, Zvezda and Esci.

Rolls Company

Finally finished my Rolls Royce armoured car company with the completion of this one...

Similar nondescript camouflage pattern and markings to my earlier addition 

Standard model but, as with the first, I changed the machinegun for one with a bit more definition 

Though they still have an individual look too
