Been doing some touch-up work on some of my favourite pieces of kit, the 234/2

I only have the two of these - it's not very often you see them in larger formations 

The 50mm gun was eventually replaced with a 75mm version, though these date from late 1943 - early 1944

These two are by Matchbox.

Just One Box

Turns out the town near (sort of) us has a toy shop. Upon this discovery I purchased their entire stock of Airfix products

WW2 Dutch

Well, Caesar French with HaT Romanian head-swaps. I've had a go at these before - this unit had a little more thought and effort put into it

I had just enough spare figures and heads to assemble 13 platoons and a command section

I added weapon slings, and Lewis machinegun pouches taken from spare Emhar figures to a few, as these were quite common on Dutch webbing. I've got three or four good accurate scenarios involving the Dutch at home, and two more for the Dutch East Indies, if I ever get around to making a unit to represent them. 

Chrisrchurch Battlegroup

David Clarkson, his son Simon and friends introduced me to CD. I had recently left service and met them quite by chance. We had a lot of good times and historical discussions, Mr C had the most amazing library :)

This is a WW1 games being played out at the Battlegroup using the trench system that David Russell and me have spent a bit of time on over the years
