S-Model Nebelwerfers

A few pictures of some of Dave's latest work in progress

Tidy enough looking kits, and very well engineered too it seems

Dave usually does stuff in batches like this as you've seen before

A battery of these is x2 models in CD terms. These are very powerful units, especially against infantry as they have a large area effect and pretty much eliminate anything soft they hit

Will update with painted pictures including crew as soon as my old mate sends them through for you. I think Esci did a set of these with crew in winter smocks?  Long since unavailable but Paul or Tim will know for sure :)

  1. Esci did indeed do a set - http://henk.fox3000.com/Esci/8351/01.jpg - from the Henk of Holland Site

  2. Yep I have a few of them. They are well over priced when you can find them, however the figures are great winter warfare poses.

I think there is something wrong about the S Model version, but its something only a rivet counter would worry about.

    Great additions Dave

    1. Maybe post a couple to Dave if you have some spares mate? I thought they looked quite genuine?

    2. Its only a minor issue about the base of the rockets in the tubes I think.

      No need to panic!

  3. Thought ESCI may have been re issued under Humbrol but not shown on the superb 'Henk' site although I have the German Artillery set somewhere.

  4. I might have some of the Esci crew figures kicking around. Dixon also did some lovely (metal) crew figures suitable for rather warmer climes.
