and still there are problems...

Still can't comment on any Blog including my own, login issues, etc, etc. Have switched to the laptop with little noticeable improvement.

  1. Give Firefox or some other browser a try, it might work that way.

IE is not the best of browsers, that might be where the problem is coming from.

Hope you get it fixed soon.

    Cheers,

    John.

  2. I have had similar problems, and they seem to be a result of my using Microsoft Internet Explorer. I switched to Safari ... and the problems no longer occur.

    All the best,

    Bob

  3. Try this:

    * Clear out all cookies from your browser.

    * Check your cookie settings and make sure 'accept cookies from 3rd parties' is enabled.

    * Shut down and restart your browser.

    * Go to a Blogger blog, and log in directly to blogger (not to Gmail or another service) but Make sure the 'keep me logged in' or 'remember me' box is NOT checked.

    * Test by making a comment on your own blog or others.

  7. I am also still having the same issues and can only post comments etc from my phone...there doesn't seem to be a problem sending new posts, only comments/replies etc, bloody annoying though! Some remedies seem to work for some people, some don't; a pain...

  8. Blogger seems to be OK now, although comment levels have dropped quite a bit. I access the interwebnet using two versions of IE (depending on which PC I'm using). I did have a brief dalliance with Firefox a few years ago but it wouldn't run quite a few sites.

  10. I had issues where my IE/Firefox security level was too high. It mean that the Blogger cookies weren't liked. It works for me at medium-low. (See Internet options)

I don't know if it has anything to do with recent EU legislation regarding "cookies", but Blogger may have been doing some behind the scenes tinkering. Sadly I think chances are it is your machine. Methinks A change of browser may be a good option to pursue.

  13. The most comments ever! My switch to chrome was hassle free and seems to be faster than IE. It is not a surprise that Google (who run blogger) do not seem that worried about the IE interface as it will push people onto Google chrome.

    Model on!
