Panzer IIIe

This is the model I was going to trade Paul for the Esci version, it's a tidy Matchbox one. As usual he didn't want anything in return, so this was almost immediately added to my early war collection; its addition completes my third company of this variant

It was originally desert yellow

Painted with Vallejo German colours which seems just a tad bit brighter than its Tamiya equivalent

Decals from the spares department

Its inclusion has meant a new box for my early war German stuff, here is the old one

East Africa river-town scenario I've been working on, bit of of a preview for you :)

Bright as a new pin, here it is between the others. I might try and tidy these up a bit over the summer holidays

The new box is still a little cramped, think a raid on the stationary cupboard at work tomorrow might be in order:)

  3. Dunno why, but I love pics of boxes jam packed full of models! BTW it looks like a 222 in three colour camo has sneaked into your new early war box while you weren't looking... ;o)
