Airfix Light Utility

Lovely wee kit this, shame the engineering was not quite up to scratch though :(



Should have painted it 'on sprue' but started dry fitting parts and before I realized it was complete 


As you can see the door frames do not line up well with the rest of it



Likewise with the canopy, leaving quite a gap




Still, an excellent addition to my British collection, these served in all theatres of WW2 from start to finish.

  1. Interesting idea to have a fully clear door part. Will possibly avoid fogging entirely.

  3. good result with not-so-good raw material.
    why don't you try to use some putty to fill in the gaps between pieces before painting?
    i normally do, and i think it works.
