The three battalions of parachute infantry

Support assets, still a MMG platoon and engineer platoon to add

PIAT and ammo porter platoons, still one PIAT to add

Various command sections

Gun crews.

Best to you all for this year and the next. All of your Blogs are a great source of inspiration to me when it comes to my hobby.

Cheers

PSC A9 Cruisers

My latest early war additions. I now have five of this variant  and a couple of A10s

Didn't have much of a choice with decals, these are about the best I could find

These are excellent models. Will definitely be getting some more :)

The Red Cap

Made this stand for my British

No idea if they routinely used dogs during WW2

Limited real use in game terms, could fire as 'other' or maybe a recon stand

Only one run-in ever with these people during my service time - caution, do not snort too much vodka off a teaspoon :) :)

Changed the webbing to white.

Command M/C Infantry Stand

This stand finishes off my British motorcycle infantry company

The figure is a mixture of bits and pieces, the bike Academy

Not quite what I had in mind but not too bad either.

British Motorcycle Infantry

A few pictures of a little project I've had on the go for a while...

Airfix bike with Airfix sidecar, slightly modified with green-stuff. This is the machinegun platoon

Edai bike and sidecar, crew is made from spares with Zvezda heads

Academy bike, Fujimi sidecar

Added small spares for a little extra detail

Still some minor paintwork to touch-up but they are pretty much ready for the tabletop. Just started working on a command stand.

Boat Crew Two

Didn't really have the mojo flowing with this one, but finished it is

Similar figure combination and kit as the first attempt

I have actually got a few raider scenarios with OOBs and everything, so these might get a run a some stage later on down the track

On a bit of a harbour theme at the moment, more on that soon.

British Scout Carrier

A couple of early war carriers I've been working on over the last week or so...

This one has had crew added to designate it as a command platoon

Not one of my better crew conversions but I am running low on various spare parts, especially the very useful Matchbox British

These are nice little resin model by Frontline.

British Bridging Engineers

Could have done with a little more attention to detail but they'll do for a start

I still need to make another platoon plus a command section

These will suit any era of WW2 and several different theatres

Already have the transport for this unit, just need to improve a couple of things. In CD3 bridging engineers are usually found in scenario or campaign maps, but are occasionally included with larger engineer formations as well. Bridges can be built during games but can take a lot of time, depending on the obstacle to be bridged. I once played a cold war game with Paul where it took my engineers nine turns to build a bridge out of a ten turn game!
