Japanese Aircraft

A bit of progress after a short trip away. This is the only Japanese aircraft I have and quite a nice little kit to assemble it was. I normally leave the canopy off until painting is complete but I got a bit sidetracked while I was making it, so it's on there now.

Thought I might have a go at a paint job that matches the box art, but I need to pick up a couple of new paint colours first.

  1. A nice looking model. I'm not very well up on Japanese aircraft - what is that one?

  2. Yeah, that makes two of us. It is a 'Tojo - Nakajima Ki-44' aka Shoki. The kit itself was produced by UPC in the early 70s'
