Progress

A few more pictures of the next troop, with a bit of colour on them.

All have had an item or two added, a back-pack at least, but some more than others.

Just waiting on Bren gunners to arrive from Ireland which will then, hopefully, see each new troop with its required weapons platoon. Had hoped to keep them all 1/76 but we'll just have to wait and see what turns up.

  3. Thanks boys, the stuff on the bases is standard gap filler, the bases are ice cream sticks (the wider ones). Will try to get a full troop posted soon.

  4. Thanks Al. I am going to try and use some of that gap filler next time instead of modeling sand. Do you need to smooth it off at all once it drys?

  5. Gap filler can be messy if you're in a hurry. But if you are careful you can do a lot with it, rough, smooth, whatever. Just wet an old thin paint brush to spread it out, it can also be sanded when dry. Good luck.

  6. You are going from strength to strength with these figures mate.

You really should look at making them be Kiwi's ah la 44-45 Italy.

  7. Been thinking about that Paul but there are more figure choices in 1/72 so I'll start putting figures aside:)
